Through innovative, educational shows, the planetarium helps its visitors gain knowledge about and appreciation for the universe and our exploration of it. Established in 1969 as part of the Public Schools of Robeson County, the planetarium is 3 miles west of Lumberton. It also features a science center with interactive exhibits for children and a gift shop.
