The Humphrey-Williams-Smith Plantation features period structures, crafted in various architectural styles, that interpret plantation life in the mid-19th century, including a Civil War-era post office. Its centerpiece is the Greek Revival and Tidewater-style residence, which was completed in 1846. Situated a little over seven miles northwest of downtown Lumberton, the property has been owned by the Humphrey family since 1772.
